Job summary

Atlantic Constructors, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to join our growing commercial construction team in the Greater Richmond Area.

You will collaborate with the Project Superintendent and Project Manager to ensure successful execution of MEP construction activities on ground-up or large-scale projects. The role focuses on daily site operations, safety enforcement, schedule maintenance, and QA support.

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience as General Foreman/Superintendent/Assistant Superintendent
• Ability to supervise large crews (10+)
• Experience with man hour reports, job cost reports, and workforce planning
• Knowledge of design drawings, specifications, contract documents and site coordination
• OSHA 30 certification and CPR
• Willingness to report to multiple job sites as assigned
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Supervise field foremen for MEP trades
• Oversee specific trades on large projects with Superintendent or Sr. Superintendent
• Review drawings and ensure compliance with schedules and specs
• Coordinate safety on site and ensure resources are available
• Track project progress and manage budgeted targets
• Engage clients, vendors, and teams to maintain a positive work environment
• Utilize AXIOM to review foremen logs and guide performance
