HITT Contracting in Falls Church, Virginia is seeking an MEP Assistant Superintendent to develop skills in technical MEP construction and management. You will work with the project MEP Superintendent on field inspections, progress updates, document control, equipment inspections, vendor coordination, and support for startup and commissioning.

This role values a four-year degree in construction, engineering, or business, 2-5 years in commercial construction, strong communication and leadership,

Qualifications

• High school diploma required, four-year degree preferred in construction, engineering, or business.
• 2-5 years’ experience in commercial construction with a GC.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to travel.
• Proficient with computer and software tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain adherence to HITT’s safety standards.
• Assist bidding mechanical and electrical trades.
• File required project documentation.
• Conduct project meetings and record minutes.
• Collaborate with project superintendent and site team.
• Develop MEP critical path schedule and update project schedule.
• Coordinate logistics and track critical path construction and startup.
• Review mechanical and electrical submittals.
• Track equipment deliveries.
• Support commissioning activities and documentation.
• Manage startup/pretesting of MEP systems.
• Contribute to closeout processes.
