Job summary

HKS, Inc. is seeking a senior leader to manage the Mental & Behavioral Health Studio. You will guide multiple project teams through programming, schematic design, development and delivery, ensuring high-quality documentation and client satisfaction.

You will mentor designers, collaborate with project managers and studio leaders, and liaise with office directors to advance firm priorities while sustaining P&L, staffing and resource growth.

Qualifications

• Accredited professional degree in Architecture or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Licensure or certification in chosen field preferred.
• Typically 15+ years of experience including leadership in design teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversees projects assigned to respective core studio with focus on process, delivery, work environment and documentation.
• Collaborates in strategic planning and allocates resources to support studio goals.
• Partners with Studios to advance firm and office priorities.
• Leads client engagement from programming through design development and delivery.
• Mentors designers, guides design direction and leads critiques to ensure quality.
