Job summary

HKS seeks a senior studio leader to manage a designated practice and multiple project teams delivering health-focused design solutions. You will drive strategy, mentor staff, and ensure client satisfaction across complex projects.

You will collaborate with firm leaders to align design direction with strategic priorities, manage staffing and resources, and maintain high-quality documentation and outcomes across phases from programming to delivery.

Qualifications

• Accredited professional degree in Architecture or Interior Design or related field.
• Typically 15+ years of experience with leadership responsibility.
• Subject matter expertise in designing health facilities including MBH.
• Strong presentation, negotiation and client relationship skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, MS Project and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversees studio management and multiple project teams within a practice area.
• Leads strategic planning and allocates resources across studios.
• Interfaces with clients to understand goals and manage expectations.
• Guides design direction and mentors designers through project phases.
• Ensures high quality documentation and timely delivery of projects.
