Job summary

Geode Health is seeking a detail-oriented Practice Assistant for our Suwanee, GA office. This role combines clinical and administrative duties to support providers and the care team in delivering high-quality outpatient mental health services.

The Practice Assistant will handle patient records, appointment coordination, and compliance tasks while maintaining confidentiality and professional communication with patients and staff.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in a medical office and/or mental health setting.
• Experience with patients suffering from anxiety and depression preferred.
• Professional appearance and demeanor when interacting with patients.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Strong computer skills for clinical and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support providers with delivery of high-quality care to ambulatory patients.
• Assist with maintaining and safeguarding medical records and patient confidentiality.
• Respond to information requests following policies and provider instructions.
• Adhere to standards to maintain a safe, secure work environment.
• Assist with HR compliance tasks, including I-9 verifications and drug screening as needed.
• Support front office, accounting, finance, payroll, and HR activities as required.
