Job summary

Geode Health, a fast-growing national provider of outpatient mental health services, is seeking a Practice Assistant for our Athens and Lawrenceville offices. This full-time float role supports front-office and clinical operations, delivering a seamless patient experience.

You will manage schedules, assist with referrals and documentation, and ensure HIPAA compliance while upholding Geode Health’s mission to make care more accessible, affordable, and effective.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of medical office or healthcare experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Proficient in computers and EMR systems.
• Comfortable answering the phone and coordinating appointments.
• Self-starter with strong time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for patients.
• Manage front-office activities and appointment flow.
• Coordinate referrals, forms, and follow-ups.
• Support providers and clinical staff as needed.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
