Job summary
Endeavor Health’s Linden Oaks Hospital in Naperville seeks a Mental Health Associate I for full-time evening shifts. You’ll lead therapy groups, supervise patients, orient new admissions, and assist with treatment planning and documentation.
This role supports safe, therapeutic care in a fast-paced behavioral health setting. Requires a Bachelor's in a behavioral health field or related degree with applicable experience; CPI and CPR certifications are expected, with opportunities for career
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a behavioral health related field or a non-behavioral health degree with 1 year behavioral health experience.
- Maintain information as highly confidential and professional boundaries.
Responsibilities
- Facilitates didactic, educational and unit/program community groups and encourages patient participation.
- Provides one-to-one supervision to ensure safety and accurate warnings/precautions records.
- Orients new patients and hands off information when accepting borders.
- Contributes to treatment planning with the interdisciplinary team and discharge planning.
- Completes patient, program and department documentation.
- Performs clerical and administrative tasks to support department operations.
- Monitors progress and communicates updates to the charge person and families.
