Job summary

Endeavor Health, a fully integrated healthcare system, is seeking a Mental Health Associate I for the Linden Oaks Naperville location. This part-time role (20 hours) offers an evening shift (3:00-11:30pm) with rotating weekends/holidays and a stipend structure tied to experience.

You will facilitate groups, support therapeutic activities, and participate in discharge planning, all while maintaining patient safety and proper documentation within a collaborative care team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Behavioral Health or related field
• Minimum one year of behavioral health experience (or degree in non-behavioral health field)

Responsibilities

• Facilitates didactic, educational and unit/program community groups.
• Encourages and facilitates patients’ participation in therapeutic activities.
• Supervises patients to ensure safety and involvement in treatment.
• Provides one-to-one supervision to ensure patient safety.
• Conducts unit rounds and maintains real-time precautions records.
• Orients new patients to unit, program and milieu with introductions.
• Provides hand-off information when receiving borders from other units.
• Participates in treatment planning with interdisciplinary team.
• Completes patient, program, and department documentation.
• Performs clerical and administrative tasks to support department operations.
