Job summary

The Owen Valley Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is hiring an LPN/RN to deliver direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants, ensuring all tasks meet federal, state, and local standards under the Director of Nursing.

You will direct daily nursing operations, complete and maintain patient records, administer medications, and coordinate with other departments to sustain a warm, safe, and high-quality care environment.

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license in the state.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Ability to make independent decisions when warranted.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, laws and guidelines for facilities.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Long-term care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants and plan shift services.
• Complete required forms and chart nurse notes and physician orders.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Maintain inter-department relationships to ensure quality care.
• Provide and report nursing care during shift handoffs and rounds with physicians.
• Conduct safety and privacy practices for residents and staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
