Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse with current unencumbered state license.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• CPR Certification is required.
• Experience in Long Term Care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants.
• Complete & file admission, transfer and discharge records; transcribe orders; chart nurse notes.
• Prepare & administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Develop and maintain good working rapport with inter-departmental staff and residents.
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information and ensure privacy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
