Job summary

Owen Valley Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center seeks an LPN to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants in accordance with applicable standards and regulations.

You will maintain patient care quality, coordinate with other departments, and support the Director of Nursing by ensuring accurate charting, timely reporting, and adherence to safety policies. A current LPN license and CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse with current unencumbered state license.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants and supervise shift activities.
• Complete and file required admission, transfer and discharge records.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Develop good working rapport with inter-departmental staff and maintain calm, warm unit atmosphere.
• Receive/give nursing reports at shift change and assist physicians on rounds.
