Brookdale Vero Beach is seeking a Memory Care Program Coordinator. You will design and lead person-centered dementia programs, coordinate a weekly calendar, and collaborate with families and staff to enhance residents' quality of life.

Role requires a degree in a related field and experience with older adults; candidates with supervisory experience and knowledge of dementia care are encouraged to apply. Brookdale offers comprehensive benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in therapeutic recreation, gerontology, education or related field preferred.
• Minimum two years of direct programming experience with older adults and dementia preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a 3-year driving abstract with no more than one moving violation; may require CDL based on community needs.

Responsibilities

• Designs a 7 day a week person centered program engaging residents.
• Develops a monthly calendar with residents' shared interests.
• Ensures dementia care programs comply with BEST and regulatory standards.
• Collaborates with leadership to educate families about Alzheimer's and other dementias.
• May supervise Clare Bridge Program Assistants and assist with hiring and coaching.
