Job summary

Brookdale Senior Living in Virginia Beach is seeking a Memory Care Program Assistant (Finance) to support person-centered dementia programming across the community. You will help implement activities, review individual plans, and assist the Program Manager.

This role emphasizes resident well-being, teamwork with staff and volunteers, and adherence to Brookdale standards. A valid driver’s license and basic computer skills are required; growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates Degree preferred.
• Minimum one year of experience with older adults and dementia preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a current 3-year driving abstract with no more than one moving violation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading dementia-friendly programs and activities.
• Review resident service plans and document program data as required by Brookdale standards.
• Ensure programs comply with state and Brookdale policies and standards.
• Coordinate events, volunteer activities and family engagements within the community.
• Support resident engagement and quality improvement initiatives including BEST.
