Job summary

Brookdale is seeking a Memory Care Program Coordinator to plan, coordinate and deliver person-centered dementia programs within the Clare Bridge community. You will work with residents, families and the clinical team to create engaging activities that enhance quality of life while aligning with Brookdale's standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and experience with older adults, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage budgets and collaborate across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in therapeutic recreation, gerontology, education or related field preferred.
• Minimum two years of direct programming experience with older adults and persons with dementia preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Designs and coordinates person-centered dementia programs for residents.
• Develops monthly schedules and ensures programs meet Brookdale standards.
• Collaborates with families and clinical teams to address residents' needs.
• Monitors residents' health changes and communicates with the care team.
• May supervise program assistants and support staff as needed.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in therapeutic recreation, gerontology, education or related field
