Job summary

Brookdale Madison West is seeking a Resident Engagement Coordinator to design and run programs for residents in our Memory Care community. You will use a person-centered approach to develop meaningful activities and collaborate with community leaders to plan and execute events that enhance residents' quality of life.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year coordinating programs with seniors, a high school diploma or GED, and a preferred bachelor's in related fields.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year of direct experience coordinating, planning, and executing programs.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in therapeutic recreation, gerontology, health care, education, or related field preferred.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops a monthly calendar with residents based on shared interests.
• Collaborates with community leadership to plan, coordinate, and execute special events.
• Plans and schedules meaningful resident engagement opportunities, including driving a community vehicle.
