Job summary

Brookdale Senior Living seeks a Resident Engagement Coordinator to support programs that enrich residents' lives. You will coordinate activities, work with residents to design a monthly calendar, and collaborate with leaders to host events such as holidays, family gatherings, and educational programs.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year coordinating programs for adults, a high school diploma or GED, and leadership potential. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year coordinating and planning programs for adults.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; GED or high school diploma required.
• Valid driver's license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes a person-centered approach to build relationships with residents.
• Develops a monthly calendar in partnership with residents based on shared interests.
• Collaborates with community leadership to plan and execute events (holiday, family, educational, and marketing).
• Plans engaging opportunities outside the community, which may include driving a community vehicle.
