Job summary

The Pennant Group, Inc. is seeking a Memory Care Program Director for our Texas Lewisville community. You will lead the Activity Supervisor team, plan a robust activities calendar, and partner with residents and families to promote independence and engagement in daily life.

You will collaborate with staff to deliver meaningful programs, coordinate volunteer projects, manage supplies, and transport residents to events. CPR/First Aid certification and driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; degree preferred in Recreation Therapy or Human Services.
• Experience in small group socialization and creative programming for older adults.
• Experience in managing staff and volunteers.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and oversee the Activities program for residents.
• Create a multi-faceted daily/monthly calendar appropriate for all care levels.
• Establish community partnerships to offer diverse activity options.
• Provide opportunities for residents to engage in volunteer projects.
• Ensure supplies are ordered and available for use.
• Transport residents to activities and events in the community.
