Deercreekseniorliving in Lewisville, TX is seeking a Memory Care Program Director to lead our Activities program and enrich residents' daily lives.

You will plan and oversee multi‑faceted calendars, work with Activities staff, coordinate partnerships, and ensure programs support independence, engagement, and a sense of fulfillment for residents.

Strong communication, creativity, and a passion for older adults are essential; CPR/First Aid certification and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• College degree in Recreation Therapy or Human Services preferred or two years of equivalent experience.
• Experience in small-group socialization and creative programming for older adults preferred.
• Experience in managing staff and volunteers.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsabilités

• Plans, implements, and oversees the Activities program for residents.
• Works with Activities staff to create a multi-faceted calendar for all care levels.
• Ensures activities promote independence and a sense of fulfillment.
• Provides a balanced daily and monthly calendar of programs and events.
• Routinely seeks resident feedback for future programs.
• Establishes community partnerships to offer varied activity options.
• Provides opportunities for residents to engage in community volunteer projects.
• Ensures activity supplies are ordered and available.
• Transports residents to activities and events.
