Job summary

Brookdale Senior Living seeks a Clare Bridge Program Assistant to support resident-centered dementia programs and activities. You will help implement calendars of activities, engage residents, and collaborate with the Program Manager to meet individual needs and preferences.

The role involves coordinating events, guiding staff on engagement, and ensuring high-quality care in a dementia care community, with opportunities for professional growth and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates Degree preferred.
• Minimum one year of experience with older adults and dementia preferred; or equivalent education/experience.
• Valid driver's license and a current 3-year driving abstract with no more than one moving violation.

Responsibilities

• Assist Clare Bridge Program Manager or Coordinator in leading dementia-friendly programs.
• Coordinate and participate in special events and family activities.
• Provide guidance to associates on programming/engagement and resident quality of life.
• Assist with volunteer program including training and supervising volunteers.
• Assist with personal care, housekeeping and dietary responsibilities as needed to ensure service quality.
