Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Read, write, understand and communicate in English with residents.
• Positive, energetic attitude toward residents.
• Ability to print documents and enter information about residents.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day.
• Must lift/move up to 50 pounds.
• Criminal background cleared.

Responsibilities

• Advocate of empathy: build human connections with residents in vulnerable moments.
• Patient observer: discover residents' interests and create engagement plans.
• Master of the Mise en Scène: set the stage for daily routines and environments.
• Life Partner: support residents through daily activities from wake to sleep.
• Document resident care and changes in condition accurately.
• Assist with orientation of memory care team members.
