Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English with residents.
• Positive, energetic attitude towards residents.
• Computer skills to print documents and enter information.
• Active role requiring standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Criminal background check clearance.

Responsibilities

• Advocate empathy and create human connection with residents.
• Serve as a patient observer to learn residents' interests and abilities.
• Set the stage for each day through the environment and routines (mise en scène).
• Partner with residents to support daily life from wake to sleep.
• Document resident care and condition changes accurately.
• Assist with orientation of memory care team members.
