Job summary

Cogir of Folsom is seeking compassionate Care Partners to provide direct, personalized care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living, mobility, and comfort while preserving privacy and dignity.

You will work in a collaborative team, support memory care needs if applicable, participate in enrichment activities, assist with light housekeeping, and communicate openly with residents, families, and staff. Weekend rotation may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current caregiver training/certification per state requirements (CNA/GNA/PCA/DCA) or ability to obtain.
• Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring) while following safety guidelines.
• Promote independence by providing compassionate care, engagement, and companionship.
• Encourage participation in life enrichment programs.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks (beds, tidying rooms).
• Maintain open communication between residents, families, and healthcare staff.
