Cogir Senior Living in Sonoma Plaza is seeking Care Partners to provide compassionate, personalized direct care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living while promoting independence, privacy, and dignity.

You'll work as part of a team across day, evening, and night shifts, with weekend rotation; prior caregiving experience and strong communication are valued; benefits include health insurance, paid time off, and 401K.

Qualifications

• At least 12 months of experience in a professional caregiving setting.
• Memory care experience is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a teamwork mindset.
• Positive attitude, empathy, patience, and commitment to dignity and respect.
• Attention to detail, physical stamina, and high integrity.
• Willingness to participate in weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and transferring.
• Promote independence and provide emotional support, engagement, and companionship.
• Encourage participation in life enrichment activity programs.
• Assist with light housekeeping duties such as making beds and tidying rooms.
• Maintain open communication between healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.
