Job summary

The Crestone Senior Living in Olathe, KS is seeking a Memory Care Support Partner for a part-time role. You will advocate empathy, observe residents, and help create engaging daily experiences in a supportive, home-like environment.

Responsibilities include documenting care, orienting memory care staff, and ensuring residents’ safety and comfort. This role requires physical activity, English fluency, and a caring demeanor.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
• Positive and energetic attitude toward residents.
• Ability to use a computer to print documents and enter information about residents.
• Physically active: standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• Able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and after a fall.
• Criminal clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Advocate of empathy and create human connection with residents during vulnerable moments.
• Be a patient observer to discover residents’ interests and develop engagement plans.
• Master the mise en scène: set the stage for daily activities across spaces.
• Life Partner: support residents in waking to sleeping.
• Document resident care and changes in condition.
• Assist with orientation of memory care team members.
