Avamere Living in Hillsboro, OR is seeking a part-time Med Tech for the swing shift (2-10pm), Fri-Sat, to administer medications and provide direct resident care.

You will pass meds, document in the EMR, coordinate with the RN, and help ensure resident safety and comfort. Requires caregiver/med tech experience in memory care or assisted living, CPR/First Aid certification, and ability to obtain a Food Handler's Card.

Competenze

• Experience as a Caregiver and Medication Tech in memory care or assisted living.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification during employment.
• Ability to obtain a Food Handler's Card.
• Experience in electronic medical records documentation.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Friendly, attentive, and professional demeanor with residents and guests.
• Genuine desire to improve quality of life for seniors.
• Create and uphold a warm, patient and cheerful environment.

• Pass medications according to physician orders under RN supervision.
• Administer accurately and timely.
• Record medications in resident records.
• Notify pharmacy or family when refills are needed.
• Maintain a clean medication cart and room.
• Monitor and report medication side effects.
• Record changes in residents' status in the EMR.
• Follow care plans for medication administration.
• Assist with medical appointments and advocate for residents.
• Observe residents for health changes and monitor vital signs.
