Avamere at Hillsboro in Hillsboro, OR is seeking a Med Tech for Assisted Living and Memory Care. The role administers medications and provides direct resident care, working under a licensed nurse in a supportive team environment.

The position offers part-time or full-time hours with wage between $19.70 and $25.70 per hour, DOE. Benefits include health coverage, 401(k), PTO, and more to support resident care and staff wellbeing.

Formación

• Experience as a Caregiver and Medication Tech in Memory Care or Assisted Living.
• Must obtain/maintain CPR/First Aid certification during employment.
• Must obtain a Food Handler’s Card.
• Experience in electronic medical records documentation.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Friendly, attentive, and professional demeanor with residents and guests.
• Genuine desire to improve the quality of life for seniors.
• Create and uphold an atmosphere of warmth, patience, enthusiasm, and a calm and cheerful environment.

Responsabilidades

• Pass medications according to physician orders under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Administer medications accurately and timely.
• Record medications administered in the resident’s record.
• Notify the pharmacy or family when medications need refilling.
• Maintain a clean and organized medication cart and room.
• Monitor and report side effects of medications to the Director of Health Services.
• Complete reports in the electronic medical record.
• Follow care plans related to medication administration.
