Job summary

MorningStar Senior Living is seeking a Memory Care Coordinator to oversee care in the Memory Care Community, including hiring, training, supervising, and scheduling caregivers and med techs. The role monitors resident needs and coordinates with the Wellness Director and families to address changes in condition.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years in health care with dementia experience or supervisory experience, plus medication administration training and a current first aid

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of health-related experience including caring for people with dementia, or supervisory/management experience with dementia.
• Knowledge of dementia care procedures and negotiated care plans.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and care documents; excellent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage staffing needs of the Reflections Community by interviewing, hiring, training, supervising, and scheduling caregiver and med tech coverage.
• Assess resident care needs, alert Wellness Director of changes, and coordinate with family and providers.
• Develop and update Negotiated Service Plans and move‑in assessments in collaboration with departments.
