Job summary

MorningStar of Santa Fe is seeking a Memory Care Coordinator to manage all facets of service for the Memory Care Community. You will hire, train, supervise and schedule caregivers and med techs, monitor resident care, and liaise with the Wellness Director, residents and families. Emphasis on dementia care with a compassionate, team‑oriented approach.

Schedule: Sunday - Thursday, 9am - 5pm. Benefits include health insurance, 401k with matching, HSA options, paid time off, tuition reimbursement,

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of health-related experience including caring for people with dementia preferred, or supervisory/management experience working with people with dementia.
• Must be able to read and interpret documents and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Manage staffing by interviewing, hiring, training, supervising and scheduling caregivers and med techs.
• Monitor resident care needs and alert the Wellness Director to changes in condition.
• Coordinate with families and community providers; ensure adherence to care plans and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in administering medications and maintaining accurate records.
• Maintain infection control guidelines and complete incident reporting.

Education

Health-related experience including caring for people with dementia; supervisory/management experience
