Job summary

MorningStar Senior Living in Parker, CO seeks a Memory Care Coordinator to manage all aspects of care in the Memory Care Community. You will hire, train, supervise and schedule caregivers and med techs, monitor resident care, and act as liaison with families and external providers.

You will follow state and federal regulations, maintain records, and ensure medication administration is performed safely. Requires Medication Administration training and a current first aid certificate, plus at least

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of health-related experience including caring for people with dementia preferred, or supervisory/management experience working with people with dementia.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, supervise and schedule caregivers and med techs.
• Monitor resident care needs and alert Wellness Director of changes in condition.
• Coordinate with families and providers to address resident concerns and requests.
• Maintain records reflecting resident conditions and negotiated service plans.
• Assist in medication administration and document reactions.
• Ensure infection control guidelines are followed and supplies are available.
• Promote teamwork across departments and communicate changes to the Wellness Director.
