MorningStar Senior Living in Parker, CO is seeking a Memory Care Coordinator for the Reflections Community. The role manages care staff, coordinates training, and ensures high-quality dementia care for residents.

It requires supervising caregivers and med techs, handling schedules, and maintaining thorough records. The position emphasizes collaboration with the Wellness Director, families, and community providers while upholding MorningStar’s standards and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of health-related experience including caring for people with dementia or supervisory/management experience.
• Good understanding of dementia care needs and negotiated service plans.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.
• Effective written and verbal communication in English.
• Medication administration training and first aid certification required.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, supervise and schedule caregivers and med techs for the Reflections Community.
• Manage staffing within budget and track attendance and time sheets.
• Coordinate orientation training, in-service meetings and ongoing education on dementia care.
• Observe residents, report changes to Wellness Director, and liaise with families.
• Assist in administering medications and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure infection control standards and use of protective supplies.
