Job summary

MorningStar Senior Living is seeking a Memory Care Coordinator to manage all aspects of care in the Memory Care Community. The role includes hiring, training, supervising, and scheduling caregivers and med techs, and monitoring resident needs while coordinating with the Wellness Director and family members.

The coordinator will address family concerns, respond to special requests, and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of health-related experience including caring for people with dementia preferred.
• Supervisory/management experience working with people with dementia.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Manage all facets of service to address resident care needs in the Memory Care Community.
• Hire, train, supervise and schedule the care givers and med techs.
• Monitor resident care needs and alert the Wellness Director of changes in condition.
• Address resident and family concerns and respond to special requests.
• Coordinate with community providers and ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
