Job summary

MorningStar Senior Living in Denver is seeking an Assisted Living Coordinator to lead care teams, hire and train caregivers, and ensure high-quality resident services. The role emphasizes coordination with the Wellness Director and Family interactions to negotiate service plans and monitor changes in residents’ conditions.

The position requires at least 2 years in long-term care supervisory experience, a state-approved Medication Administration training, and a current first aid certificate.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of health related experience in long-term care or assisted living supervisory or management experience.
• Successful completion of State approved Medication Administration training and a current first aid certificate as required.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, supervise, and schedule caregivers and med techs.
• Monitor resident care needs and alert Wellness Director on changes in condition.
• Maintain accurate records in the Daily Log and communicate with Wellness Director.
• Ensure infection control guidelines are met and supplies are available.
• Develop, maintain, and update resident negotiated service plans and assessments.
• Schedule and conduct change of condition assessments and bi-annual service plan meetings.
• Assist with counseling residents and families regarding care needs.
• Oversee regular resident suite checks and respond to emergencies.
