Job summary

Experience Senior Living is seeking a Director of Memory Care to lead the Dementia care program, supervise Memory Care team members, and coordinate daily programming across the Memory Care neighborhood.

You will partner with Health and Wellness to align clinical and non-clinical services, supervise onboarding, training, and performance reviews, and drive quality enhancements in resident care and family engagement.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred such as gerontology, social services, behavioral health, therapeutic recreation and/or nursing.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in caring for people with dementia or cognitive challenges, and in developing and facilitating activity programs, preferably as a manager with a specialized dementia program.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and vibrant environment for residents with dementia or cognitive challenges.
• Supervise Memory Care team members including scheduling, performance conversations, training, and onboarding.
• Develop and organize daily programming for Memory Care, ensuring 24/7 coverage and engagement.
• Collaborate with Health and Wellness leadership on care plans, medication processes, and external partnerships.
