Job summary

Oakmont Senior Living is seeking an Activity Coordinator for Memory Care in Santa Clara, CA. This full-time role focuses on creating an engaging social atmosphere, coordinating activities, outings, and special events for residents in the Traditions area.

You will work with the Memory Care Director to promote resident participation and safety while maintaining a friendly, team-oriented environment. A reliable, empathetic approach is essential for enriching residents’ lives.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer one year of experience coordinating or teaching activities with seniors.
• Requires current Class C driver license; Class B preferred for transporting residents.
• Able to operate a PC and be proficient in MS Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Memory Care Director in providing an engaging, rewarding social atmosphere within the Traditions area for residents.
• Promote resident participation through scheduled activities, excursions, events, and classes.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
• Able to drive Community vehicles.
• Encourage teamwork and positive interdepartmental collaboration.
