Job summary

Oakmont of Redwood City seeks an Activity Coordinator to organize and direct Memory Care activities that enhance residents’ independence and quality of life. You will promote participation through events, excursions, and clubs while collaborating with the Memory Care Director and care team.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid Class C license (Class B preferred), and comfort with MS Office. Prior experience with seniors is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer one year of experience coordinating activities with seniors.
• Requires current Class C driver license; Class B preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Assist Memory Care Director in providing a rewarding social atmosphere with activities, excursions, and events.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following established safety standards.
• Able to drive Community vehicles.
• Encourage teamwork across departments.
