Job summary

Oakmont of Burlingame, part of Oakmont Management Group, is seeking an Activity Coordinator for Memory Care. The role supports organizing and guiding activities to enhance residents' independence and quality of life within Traditions Memory Care, aligned with our mission and values.

You will assist the Memory Care Director in creating engaging programs, coordinate excursions, and promote participation while maintaining safety and teamwork across the community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year coordinating activities with seniors.
• Current Class C driver license; Class B preferred for transporting residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist Memory Care Director in organizing, promoting, and directing activities and excursions for Traditions Memory Care to enhance residents' independence and quality of life.
• Communicate effectively and tactfully with residents, families, visitors, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, residents, and guests by following safety standards.
• Able to drive Community vehicles to transport residents.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with coworkers and other departments.
