Job summary

Oakmont of Silver Creek in San Jose, CA, seeks an Experience Activity Coordinator for Traditions Memory Care. The role plans and schedules engaging activities, promotes resident participation, and enhances independence and quality of life in line with our mission.

The position is full-time, Tue-Sat, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM, with a pay range of $22.00/hour depending on experience. Benefits include health coverage, vacation, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer one year of experience coordinating or teaching activities with seniors.
• Requires current Class C, prefer Class B driver license to transport residents.
• Able to operate a PC and be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint).
• Vaccination and PPE requirements may be required per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist Memory Care Director by planning engaging activities and excursions.
• Promote resident participation through high-quality activities and events.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and staff.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
• Able to drive community vehicles and support transportation when needed.
