Job summary

Oakmont of Roseville is seeking an Activity Coordinator for Traditions Memory Care. The role supports organizing and promoting engaging activities and excursions to enhance residents’ independence and quality of life.

You will work closely with the Memory Care Director to create a vibrant social atmosphere. The position requires at least 18 years old, a high school diploma, and ideally 1 year of senior activity coordination.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer one (1) year of experience coordinating or teaching activities with seniors.
• Requires current Class C, prefer Class B driver license to transport residents.
• Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Memory Care Director in providing a creative and rewarding social atmosphere throughout the Traditions Memory Care area, promoting resident participation through regularly scheduled activities, excursions, events, guest speakers, and classes.
• Communicate effectively and display tact and friendliness with residents, families, visitors, co-workers, and supervisors.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Able to drive Community vehicles.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
