Job summary

Oakmont of Roseville, part of Oakmont Management Group, seeks an Activity Coordinator for Memory Care in Roseville, California. The role plans and directs activities and excursions to support resident quality of life, independence, and engagement within the Traditions Memory Care area.

The coordinator partners with the Memory Care Director, promotes participation in a wide range of programs, and ensures a safe, inclusive, and comforting environment for residents and families alike.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer 1 year of experience coordinating or teaching activities with seniors.
• Requires current Class C, prefer Class B driver license to transport residents.
• Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Vaccination/screening and PPE may be required per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Memory Care Director in providing a rewarding social atmosphere throughout the Traditions area, promoting resident participation through scheduled activities and events.
• Communicate effectively and with tact with residents, families, visitors, co-workers, and supervisors.
