The Crestone Senior Living in Olathe, Kansas is seeking a Memory Care Director to lead dementia care programs and staff in a home-like environment. This full-time role oversees the Memory Care team and collaborates with leadership to ensure high standards of care and resident wellbeing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; degree in related field preferred.
• Minimum of two years' experience and knowledge of dementia care theories and practices.
• Reference if you have leadership experience as a Director in a dementia program.
• Must read, write, understand, and communicate in English with Residents.
• Positive and energetic attitude toward residents.
• Computer skills to print documents and enter information about Residents.
• Must be physically active (standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping).
• Must be able to lift/move items up to 50 pounds.
• Able to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and after a fall.
• Indoor work primarily; outdoor work for events or transportation as needed.
• Criminal clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Conductor of Culture: ensure Memory Care team embraces hospitality and professional standards.
• Talent Trainer: enforce standards, policies, and regulatory compliance in staff onboarding and training.
• Program Pioneer: implement Memory Care programs for residents’ wellbeing.
• Curator of Care: manage resident care plans and family expectations.
