Job summary

Cogir Senior Living seeks a Memory Care Director to lead the Memory Care neighborhood, train and supervise care staff, and support care plan execution while maintaining open communication with residents’ families.

You will collaborate with the Lifestyle team to provide engaging activities that enhance physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being under comprehensive assessment. Strong dementia expertise and supervisory experience are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 3–5 years of experience in an assisted living and memory care setting.
• At least 2 years of dementia experience in a supervisory role.
• Knowledge of computer systems, especially Excel and Word, and ability to learn new programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and orientation to Care Partners and Medication Care Partners on Cogir Revere Memory Care standards.
• Recruit, supervise, and schedule care staff per company policies.
• Maintain medication program under Health and Wellness Director oversight.
• Perform assessments and reassessments of residents per policy.
• Serve as the contact for non-clinical issues related to Memory Care residents.
• Maintain high resident satisfaction through quality service delivery.
• Ensure resident records and charting are current.
• Support Cogir Signature Lifestyle programming and resident engagement.
• Address distressed behavior with non-pharmacologic care plans and timely intervention.
• Educate families experiencing dementia and provide emotional support.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and licenses.
