Job summary

Westmont Living’s memory care community in Santa Barbara seeks a Memory Care Director to lead operations and ensure compassionate resident care. You will oversee staff, enforce regulations, and drive quality of life for residents in memory care.

Ideal candidate has memory care experience, AL experience preferred, strong leadership, and a commitment to safety and regulatory compliance. CPR/First Aid certification within 30 days of hire is required.

Qualifications

• Experience working in memory care.
• Assisted Living experience preferred.
• Able to communicate written and orally in English.
• CPR and First Aid certification within 30 days of hire.
• Knowledgeable of state and federal regulations.
• Management and supervising experience (1 year minimum).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-priority environment.
• Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment with minimal supervision.

What we need from you:

• Experience working in a memory care residents
• Assisted Living Experience preferred.
• Able to communicate written and orally in English.
• Within 30 days of hire be certified in CPR and First Aid
• Knowledgeable of state and federal regulations.
• Management and supervising experience (1 year minimum), including hiring, training, and coaching, and counseling.
• Able to exhibit good business judgment and have strong interpersonal, conflict resolution, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-performance environment with multiple priorities.
• Able to demonstrate the ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment with minimal supervision.
