Job summary

Westmont Living, Inc. is seeking a full-time Memory Care Director for Westmont of Pinole, a memory care and assisted living community in California.

The role prioritizes resident well-being and regulatory compliance, with LVN preferred to lead memory care teams. The ideal candidate will have proven memory care experience, strong leadership, and the ability to manage hiring, training, and coaching while ensuring quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Experience with memory care residents.
• Assisted Living experience preferred; LVN preferred.
• English communication skills (written and oral).
• CPR and First Aid certification within 30 days of hire.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations.
• Management and supervising experience (1 year minimum), including hiring, training, and coaching.
• Strong interpersonal, conflict resolution, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
• Capability to lift up to 35 lbs and push/pull up to 40 lbs.

What we need from you:

• Experience working in a memory care residents
• Assisted Living Experience preferred. LVN preferred.
• Able to communicate written and orally in English.
• Within 30 days of hire be certified in CPR and First Aid
• Knowledgeable of state and federal regulations.
• Management and supervising experience (1 year minimum), including hiring, training, and coaching, and counseling.
• Able to exhibit good business judgment and have strong interpersonal, conflict resolution, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-performance environment with multiple priorities.

• Able to demonstrate the ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to push/pull up to 40 lbs, lift up to 35 lbs.
