Job summary

Avamere Skilled Advisors, LLC is seeking a Part-Time/On-Call Server to provide outstanding dining service in a memory care, assisted living community in Portland, OR. The role involves taking orders, serving meals and beverages, and ensuring a clean, welcoming dining room.

Responsibilities include accurate order delivery, setting tables, assisting with room service, knowledge of menu and dietary needs, and collaborating with kitchen staff to maintain safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High standards of food service sanitation and safety on the job.
• Maintain high personal hygiene and hair restraints.
• Ability to learn to operate kitchen equipment.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Food Handler's card issued by local Health Department.

Responsibilities

• Accurately recording and delivering meal and beverage orders.
• Promptly delivering food and beverages and presenting them attractively.
• Providing attentive and friendly service, addressing residents' needs.
• Setting up dining room before meals and maintaining cleanliness.
• Clearing tables after meals and resetting them for next service.
• Taking and delivering room service orders to residents' apartments.
• Being familiar with the menu and dietary needs and questions.
• Interacting with residents and guests in a professional manner.
• Following all food safety and hygiene procedures.
• Collaborating with wait staff and kitchen staff for smooth service.
• Disposing of food and waste per established policies.
• Other duties assigned appropriate to the position.
