Job summary

Avamere at Mountain Ridge in South Ogden, UT is seeking a part-time Server for memory care, assisted living and/or independent living residents. You will take orders, serve meals, set up/clear tables, and provide attentive service to residents’ needs.

Responsibilities include accurately recording orders, delivering meals promptly, ensuring presentation, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards while working with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service for residents and guests.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food service sanitation and safety standards.
• Maintain high personal hygiene and hair = fully secured.
• Interpersonal skills for relations with staff and departments.
• Ability to operate basic kitchen equipment as needed.
• Must obtain/maintain CPR and First Aid certification.
• Current Food Handler's card from local health dept.
• Knowledge of dietary practices and related laws for care facilities.
• Friendly, attentive, professional demeanor with residents/guests.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident care information.
• Compassion for the elderly and desire to help.
• Create warmth, patience, enthusiasm, and calm atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Record and deliver meal and beverage orders accurately.
• Promptly deliver food/beverages, presented attractively.
• Provide attentive, friendly service and address residents' needs.
• Set up dining room before meals; maintain cleanliness.
• Clear tables after meals and reset for next service.
• Take and deliver room service orders to apartments.
• Be knowledgeable of the menu and dietary needs.
• Interact with residents and guests in a professional manner.
• Follow food safety/hygiene procedures.
• Collaborate with wait staff and kitchen for smooth service.
• Dispose of food and waste per policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
