Job summary

Avamere Living is seeking a Server for a memory care, assisted living and/or independent living facility in Moses Lake. The role is part-time with shifts 3:45pm - 6:45pm from Wednesday to Sunday, and pay ranges from $17.00 to $18.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include taking orders, serving food and beverages, setting up and clearing tables, and ensuring a positive dining experience for residents while following safety and hygiene procedures. Excellent service and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Maintain high standards of food service sanitation and safety.
• Maintain personal hygiene and hair restraints.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with residents and staff.
• Ability to operate basic kitchen equipment.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification.
• Hold a current Food Handler card.
• Knowledge of dietary practices and hospital/nursing home regulations.
• Professional, friendly demeanor with residents and guests.
• Care for elderly residents with warmth and patience.

Responsibilities

• Record and deliver meal and beverage orders accurately.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly and attractively.
• Provide attentive service and address residents' requests.
• Set up dining room and maintain cleanliness during service.
• Clear and reset tables after meals.
• Take and deliver room service orders to apartments.
• Know the menu and accommodate dietary needs.
• Interact professionally with residents and guests.
• Follow food safety, storage, and sanitation procedures.
• Collaborate with wait and kitchen staff for smooth service.
• Dispose of food and waste per policy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
