The Alden Network is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support a Memory Care Unit, delivering holistic, person-centered care for residents with dementia. The role emphasizes compassionate engagement, documentation, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates will commit to ongoing dementia care education, participate in required orientation, and actively involve families in care planning to enhance residents' quality of life.

Qualifications

• Must complete 16 hours of orientation training prior to direct care.
• Commit to at least 12 hours of ongoing education annually.
• Knowledge of dementia care best practices and person-centered approaches.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic, therapeutic memory care on the Memory Care Unit.
• Maintain non-pharmacological activity programs and memory care schedule.
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
• Encourage family involvement and communication with residents and staff.
• Support residents to achieve quality of life and well-being.
• Be flexible to adapt to residents' changing needs.
