Job summary

The Alden Network is seeking a Nurse to support and assist in a Memory Care Unit, delivering a holistic, therapeutic, person-centered program to residents with dementia. The role emphasizes quality of life, individualized care plans, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

You will oversee Memory Care Aides and CNAs, ensure documentation is complete, and participate in ongoing dementia-specific training.

Qualifications

• Experience in dementia care and memory care programs.
• Willingness to obtain ongoing education for dementia care.
• Ability to supervise Memory Care Aides and CNAs.
• Knowledge of resident backgrounds and care needs.

Responsibilities

• Support in providing a holistic, person-centered Memory Care Program.
• Assist in supervising Memory Care Aides and CNAs with ADL care and transportation.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with policies and state/federal regulations.
• Encourage family involvement and provide emotional support to residents and team.
• Adapt to changing resident needs and participate in non-scheduled activities.
