Job summary

The Alden Network is seeking a compassionate Nurse to support and assist in providing a holistic, therapy‑driven Memory Care Program on the Memory Care Unit. The Nurse will strive to maintain the highest quality of life for residents diagnosed with dementia under our care.

Responsibilities include ongoing dementia training, supervising CNAs, individual resident care plans, and collaboration with the inter-disciplinary team to provide person‑centered care and non‑pharmacological interventions.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic, person-centered Memory Care on the unit.
• Supervise Memory Care Aides and CNAs; assist with ADL care and activities.
• Develop individualized resident care plans based on background, disease, and preferences.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with Memory Care policies and regulations.
• Encourage family involvement through volunteering and visitation.
• Provide emotional support to residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Be flexible to changing resident needs and adapt to new care requirements.
