Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Certified Medication Aide (CMA / L1MA) to support residents in Memory Care communities in Missouri. You will administer medications under licensed staff supervision and assist with daily living activities, ensuring a safe, home-like environment.

The role emphasizes resident safety, dignity, and quality of life within an interdisciplinary care team, with opportunities for professional growth and family support.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Completion of CMA / Med Level One course with certification in Missouri.
• Active certification maintained in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications under supervision of licensed staff.
• Verify resident identity prior to administration and document details.
• Monitor residents for medication responses and report concerns.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Observe and report resident care, conditions, and intake/output.
• Complete admission, discharge, and transfer documentation as required.
